7-video patient-education series produced in three different social formats for broad reach.

Patient-education explainers, clinical-process animations and healthcare brand work for hospitals, clinics, healthtech and pharma. The kind of video where the details — and the empathy — really matter.

Landing-page hero video — animated explainer set the tone for a national healthcare campaign.
Healthcare content has to be two things at once: clinically accurate and genuinely human.
We work closely with healthcare teams — clinicians, communications leads, patient advocates — to make sure the medicine is right, then design and animate it in a way patients actually understand and don't find scary.
From DHB recruitment films to specialist clinic explainers, healthtech product walk-throughs, NGO awareness campaigns and pharma patient-education series — we've made the kind of healthcare video that sits in waiting rooms, on patient portals, in clinician training and across paid social.
What to expect from a procedure, how to take medication, post-op recovery — delivered calmly and clearly.
How a treatment, device or pathway works — animated for consent conversations, internal training and brand comms.
Brand films, hospital recruitment videos and internal-comms pieces. Same Onepost team, healthcare-trained.
Healthcare audiences are some of the hardest viewers in the world to make video for — and the most rewarding when you get it right.
Patients are anxious. Clinicians are skeptical. Compliance and ethics teams have rightly long checklists. The wrong tone, the wrong claim, the wrong stock image and the whole piece falls over.
We've spent over a decade making healthcare animation in NZ — for hospital networks, specialist practices, DHBs, charities, fertility clinics, dental groups, pharma teams and digital health startups. We know how to write empathetically, how to design without scaring people, how to incorporate clinical review at the right stage, and how to ship video that does the job on patient portals, in waiting rooms, on landing pages and in paid social.
We build clinical review into the workflow so what we ship is medically accurate, not just on-brand.
Plain language, calm pacing, no scare tactics. We design for the person watching, not the institution speaking.
Custom illustration in your brand system — no off-the-shelf medical templates or generic stock animation.
Auckland and Wellington team. NZ voiceover talent. A producer who picks up the phone.
Scoping call to understand the procedure or product, the audience and the clinical-review constraints. Fit confirmed before we write a line.
Plain-English script developed with your communications team and clinically reviewed early. Empathetic, accurate, jargon-free.
Style frames lock the look — colour palette, character system, type — so the visual feel is right before animation starts.
Frame-by-frame storyboard so clinicians and comms can sign off the full narrative before a single keyframe is drawn.
NZ voiceover talent, music and sound design — handled in-house so the tone fits the script and the audience.
Regular WIPs and low-res previews so feedback is built in. Delivered in every format you need — portal, social, in-clinic, broadcast.
Common questions from healthcare and pharma teams. Don't see what you need? Just ask us.
We treat clinical review as part of the workflow, not a tickbox at the end. Your subject-matter expert (clinician, medical writer, communications lead) is looped in at script stage and again at storyboard so accuracy is locked before animation. We're comfortable working under whatever sign-off process your organisation uses — DHB, hospital, pharma compliance, ethics committee.
Yes — and we'd argue this is the single biggest reason teams come to us. We use calm visual language, empathetic pacing, plain English and characters patients can relate to. We don't use blood, gore or unnecessary anatomy unless the brief requires it. The brief is always "the patient understands and feels supported", not "the patient is shocked into action."
A standard 60–90s healthcare explainer takes about 4–6 weeks end-to-end including clinical review. A series (like a multi-video patient-education set) takes longer but per-video the unit cost drops significantly. We always work back from your launch date and tell you up-front what's realistic.
Standard delivery includes a 16:9 master, 9:16 vertical for social, 1:1 square and any 6/15/30-second cut-downs you need. We also deliver portal-ready embeds and captioned MP4s for accessibility. If you need motion stills or animated GIFs for emails or in-product, we can pull those from the same source files.
Yes — we've worked with hospital networks, specialist clinics, dental groups, fertility providers, mental-health charities, blood-cancer NGOs and pharma communications teams. Different governance, same job: clear, kind, accurate animation that helps patients and clinicians.
Yes. We can voice and caption in te reo Māori and other languages via our voice-talent network, and we can build localisable versions of your animation so swapping language for a new market is straightforward. Talk to us about your audience and we'll scope it in.
